Magpul MBUS GEN2 Rear Sight
The Magpul MBUS GEN 2 rear sight is an inexpensive spring loaded AR flip up back-up rearsight. This is a rugged flip sight as its polymer construction resists impacts, and its small size makes it compatible with a wider range of optics than the bulkier, but respected GEN 1 MBUS. It is windage adjustable and has dual, windage adjustable apertures. This back-up sight also introduces spring loading to keep it perfectly upright and thus more consistent in elevation than its predecessor. It’s also very light – a set of GEN 2 MBUS AR sights will add a negligible amount of weight to your rifle or carbine. You can mount these back up sights on any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail and, whilst intended as AR BUIS, they are just as suitable for any weapon with a sufficiently long rail, although the front flip sight cannot be mounted on a gas block for obvious reasons. Mounting hardware is included. The Magpul MBUS GEN2 AR back up iron sight is manufactured in black, dark earth, OD green and foliage green to suit different terrains and scenarios. These are iron sights without the iron!
