Yankee Hill Quad Rail Review

Yankee Hill quad rail

Yankee Hill quad rail

The Yankee Hill Quad Rail hand guard is a completely free-floating solution for accessory mounting on the AR. The free-float design prevents any pressure on the rail from affecting the barrel and degrading accuracy. This is a very stable and reliable hand rail. Four integral MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny Rails allow great flexibility in placing accessories. The barrel nut onthe Yankee Hill quad rail hand guard is locked by two anti-rotation screws to prevent movement, even under the torque imposed by vertical grips. This unit is designed to take Yankee Hill threaded swivels in any of four holes provided for great versatility in sling mounting. The Yankee Hill handguard is available in Carbine and Rifle lengths. The heavy duty, Standard model features horizontal FAL-style cooling slots. The Lightweight model has been heavily skeletonized with large holes that also provide for better cooling and allow you to see and access the barrel.
