Magpul PMAG .308 20 round magazine
The Magpul PMAG .308 magazine is ideally suited to the SR-25, Mk 11 Mod 0, XM-110, M-110, DPMS LR-308, Patriot Ordnance Factory P-308, LWRCi REPR, LMT .308 MWS (British Army L129A1), Remington R-25 and Larue OSR 308 and will also take 7.62X51mm, 7mm-08 and .243 Winchester ammunition. It will not fit Armalite AR-10 or derived rifles. Using the same immensely strong fiber reinforced polymer construction and AR style curve is used for smooth feeding in Magpul PMAGs. The molded magazine housing has no welds or sharp bends to interfere with reliability and weighs halve what an equivalent steel magazine would weigh. The self levelling, self lubricating follower prevents nose diving and bolt over head failures to feed. The spring is chrome stainless steel to resist corrosion. The floorplate is easily removable to aid cleaning and provides a shelf around the outside of the magazine base to assist in pulling it from its pouch. The mag has deep ribs on its non-slip outer surface for safe handling even in the wet. A snap on cap helps prevent the magazine lips from spreading in long term, fully loaded storage, keeps dirt and sand out of the magazine and has a lip gage and floor plate removal tool built in. The use of a retaining notch rather than the traditional hole also assists in keeping dirt out.
