TACOPS-1 charging handle
The Tacops-1 ambidextrous charging handle is an extended AR charging handle that will clear the oversized optics typically used on target and Designated Marksman’s Rifles. Machined from 7075 aluminium and Type III hard anodized, the Tacops-1 extended charging handle can be operated with minimum body movement. This makes it ideal when you are in a confined space, trying to remain concealed or when prone. The Tacops-1 ambi charging handle allows a “high ready” position without taking your eyes off the target whilst changing magazines, clearing jams or other high-stress scenarios. The handle is not so oversized as to obstruct the forward assist. The Tacops-1 AR charging handle has an ergonomic shape for very secure grasp and great leverage whilst charging. It boasxts an additional release button in the center rear of the T-handle which is easily operated by the firing hand. The roll-pin, a common point of failure on USGI charging handles, is a heavy duty unint to prevent breakage. A stainless steel latch spring locks the handle securely to prevent blowback, yet is easily released when required. The Tacops-1 is available in 5.56mm and .308 versions.
